On Tuesday 3rd December, the school welcomed the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership. Children from Year 1 to 6 took part in workshops focusing on how to stay safe on the roads.
Year 1 learnt how to cross the road safely. The children told us that when crossing the road, we should use our eyes and ears to help us spot cars. Next, they created actions to stop, look, listen, and think, which are all the things we should be doing when we cross the road. Finally, they practised these skills outside on a zebra crossing.
Year 2 went for a walk around Caythorpe, where they practised crossing the road safely. The children were brilliant at looking and listening before crossing the road.
