Christmas at Caythorpe

The FSA Christmas Fair was a great kick start to our Christmas festivities. Thank you to the FSA for organising the Christmas crafts and stalls and to all who came to support the event. It raised £400.

The whole school have been busy making Christingle for the end of term service – at the service they will share the meaning of the parts of the Christingle for Christians. The children will be bringing home their creative Christmas crafts of decorations, cards and calendars.

Tuesday was National Hot Chocolate Day – a warm hot chocolate after a cold break time was a warming treat for everyone.

The children had fabulous parties on Thursday. The children loved sharing their favourite party foods with their classmates - thank you to parents for providing delicious festive treats. The children played party games and were visited by the big man himself – his trusty reindeers can brave the coldest weather! As one child said “Oh it’s so magical!”
